A Message from the Principal....

Marewa School is located in Latham Street in Napier, and caters to the needs of approximately 260 wonderful students. Marewa has a lovely small school feel and we love parents to be part of the learning process. Both the teachers and students strive to live up to our motto; 'To matou pai mo ake tonu atu'- Our Best Always. 

We have an emphasis on achieving the absolute best that each student can achieve, particularly in the core areas of Numeracy and Literacy, while still retaining an emphasis on fun.

We believe in catering for the development of the whole child so aim to provide a range of sporting and cultural opportunities both within school and in inter-school opportunities.

All our teachers believe in making learning positive and fun so that children want to come to school. All classes have a Teachers Aide to assist with maximizing learning in the mornings. Please feel free to come and talk to me about our school and the opportunities that we offer. I am proud to be principal of Marewa School and am excited about the future of our vibrant school.
